Scooter’s Coffee Brewing Support for Sioux Falls Teachers
You Can Help Teachers Invest in Their Classrooms
Every fall, teachers head back to the classroom with lesson plans, excitement…and shopping bags.
Long before the first school bell rings, many educators are filling their carts with crayons, notebooks, tissues, disinfecting wipes, books, art supplies, and countless other classroom essentials. The surprising part? Much of it comes straight from their own wallets. In fact, many teachers spend hundreds of dollars each year making sure their students have what they need to succeed.

Fortunately, one Sioux Falls coffee company is hoping to take a little of that financial burden off teachers—one cup of coffee at a time.
Dakota News Now is reporting that Scooter's Coffee is accepting customer donations to help fund teachers’ Amazon classroom wish lists.
Through Sunday, August 9, you can swing through numerous Scooter's locations, grab yourself a great cup of coffee, Carmelicious creation, or other great beverage, and add extra dollars to your order to support area teachers' classroom wish lists.
Any money donated at Scooter's will stay 100% local and be used to purchase items off of those teachers' lists.

A Community Effort: Matching Donations and Support
Scooter's, Prairie Farms, and Undeniably Dairy will be matching the first $9,000 donated.
Teachers spend the school year pouring their hearts into their students. This time around, the community has a chance to pour a little support back into them. So when you're making your coffee run at Scooter's this next week, give a little more and it might also be helping to fill a classroom with the supplies kids need to learn, create, and thrive.
