Feeding South Dakota Giving FREE Thanksgiving Meals At 27 Sites

This Thanksgiving, no South Dakotan should have to choose between paying bills and putting a holiday meal on the table.

Feeding South Dakota, together with 25 community partners, will distribute 6,000 complete Thanksgiving meals across 27 sites throughout the state.

Each household will receive everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner: turkey, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, yams, carrots, apples, dinner rolls, pie, and a dairy voucher.

These aren't just groceries, they're the ingredients for memories, family gatherings, and the comfort of knowing someone cares.

"These are tough times for people facing hunger in South Dakota, and our neighbors need us more than ever," says Feeding South Dakota.

What began as just three Thanksgiving distribution sites has grown to 27 through the dedication of staff, partners, and generous donors across the state.

Guests may attend a Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway in addition to receiving their regular November Mobile Distribution food box, because no one should have to choose between meals this holiday season.
