Jacobson Plaza Has Gone to the Dogs With ‘Doggie Date Night’
This just in...Jacobson Plaza in downtown Sioux Falls has officially gone to the dogs!
If you’ve been sniffing around for a Valentine’s plan for you and your canine that doesn’t involve sharing a can of Alpo for two, then this idea has got your paw prints all over it.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the City of Sioux Falls is rolling out a "Doggie Date Night" on Tuesday, February 3, and it’s shaping up to be the ulti-mutt evening out for you and your four-legged best friend. Because let’s be honest, no one loves you more unconditionally than your dog, and they never forget anniversaries or feeding time.

The barking commences at 6:00 that night, and from the moment you arrive, it will be all tails wagging!
You can pamper your pup with adorable puppy photo ops, perfect for your phone background and social media bragging rights. There’s also going to be a doggie treat bar, because nothing says romance like snacks, especially when they’re bacon-flavored.
Need a little refreshment? Scoot on into the Yappy Hour Lounge for creative “MockTails” that let your pup chase a little tail without getting tipsy! Then stick around for paw-some prize raffles that might just have your dog sitting, staying, rolling over, and offering a high-five in anticipation.
Doggie Date Night isn’t just an event, it’s a memory-maker. It’s a chance to celebrate the bond you share with the furry friend who follows you from room to room and thinks you’re a superhero because you can open up their bag of treats in a single bound.
