Costumes, Candy & Cute Weenies: Halloweenie Trunk or Treat!
Get ready for a Halloween celebration packed with costumes, cute pups and plenty of dachshund fun!
Dakota Dachshund Rescue is inviting the community to its annual Halloweenie Trunk Or Treat on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Roxie and Co.
The rescue’s monthly Meet & Greet is getting a Halloween makeover, with orange and black decorations and plenty of adorable adoptable dachshunds and their furry friends dressed in their best costumes.
Whether you're looking to adopt a dachshund, hoping to meet some lovable “weenies,” or simply want to bring your own four-legged friend for a Halloween photo, there will be something for everyone.
One of the highlights will be trunk or treating for both two-legged and four-legged visitors.
Guests can enjoy the Halloween festivities while meeting the dogs and learning more about Dakota Dachshund Rescue and the animals looking for their forever homes.
Want to get more involved? Organizers are looking for participants interested in decorating a trunk and competing for prizes.
Those interested in entering a trunk can email dakotadachshund@hotmail.com for more information.
Paws up, Halloweenies!
