Listen To Full Sioux Falls Interview With Singer Jordan Davis
The big Sanford International at the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls turned country over the weekend.
Aside from the legendary PGA TOUR Champion golfers being in town, Multi-Platinum Award-Winning Country Artist Jordan Davis headed to the course for cause.
Jordan Davis was part of the EMC Greats of the Game on Saturday, September 12th along side Minnesota Vikings stars Kyle Rudolph and John Randle and two-time US Open Champion and Sanford International Ambassador Andy North.
Kyle Rudolph and John Randle were paired together for the EMC Greats of the Game and Jordan with Andy North. I'd say Jordan had the perfect playing partner for the friendly tournament. This event is a "9-hole exhibition pairing the greats of the game in a fun and competitive showdown. Shortly after the final tournament group tees off on Hole 10, this unique event is your chance to witness four icons of the entertainment world, up close and in action."
Not only was this a fun event for fans at the Sanford International, but also it was a wonderful opportunity to raise money for local charities in the Sioux Empire.
Before the round, Jordan took time to speak with me about his start in country music, how his songs reflect his life, his golf game strategy, and his memories of Dolly Parton.
There aren't any "almost maybes" when it comes to asking Jordan Davis to play golf.
For the record, Team Jordan Davis and Andy North won the contest! And the winner of the Sanford International? Iowa native Zach Johnson secured his 5th win of the PGA Tour Champions
What an incredible weekend all around in Sioux Falls! Thank you to Jordan and his team for taking the time to talk with me before the round. Looking forward to your next visit to the 605!
