Small Town South Dakota Bar Shares Hard News-Set To Close Soon

It's no secret that businesses have been struggling across the Sioux Empire. Now the struggles are coming into the light for local eatery near Sioux Falls.

Recently, officials with Titans Tavern have shared their recent struggles during a slower than normal summer. Unfortunately for the Titans Tavern...it's too late. The local bar is set to close this weekend. They shared the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post.

Come in for one more burger, drink, or story with the Titans Tavern. They really want to celebrate the last two years with the Tea community and across the Sioux Empire.

We’ve always believed that a bar or restaurant is about more than food and drinks. It’s about the people inside it. It’s about conversations that turn into friendships, birthdays that become traditions, celebrations that become memories, and a place where people simply enjoy being together.

Those memories will stay with us forever

The last day to visit the team at Titans Tavern will be this Saturday, August 1st. This is not the "ending we (Titans Tavern) ever imagined" or hoped for. But they just want to spend this time with their favorite people...the loyal patrons that made Titans Tavern so great.

We're sad to see you go, Titans Tavern. Thank you for always welcoming everyone who walked inside. More importantly, thank you for being a friend to Tea and the surrounding tonws.

Local Sioux Empire businesses have experienced hardships over the years, and now there's a local hotspot in Tea, South Dakota who could use a little extra support right now.

Located at 215 South Main Avenue in Tea, the Titans Tavern have been experiencing a slower summer than what they're used to seeing. The local eatery has only been open since May of 2024.

What's Happening with Titans Tavern in Tea, South Dakota?

In a honest and heartfelt Facebook post late last week, officials with Titans Tavern told loyal customers that this has not been the easiest summer. Why? There has been "several new restaurants opening in Tea" and with "the normal summer slowdown..."the local restaurant could use a smiling face or many.

Right now, they need their community. Whether you're in Tea, Sioux Falls, Brandon, or anywhere in the Sioux Empire, come hangout with the team at Titans Tavern.

We’re doing everything we can to keep our dream alive, but the reality is that we need our community now more than ever.

If you’ve had a good experience with us, please tell your friends and family. Leave us a recommendation. Recommend us when someone asks where to eat. Every one of those things helps more than most people realize.
