Minnesota Traffic Stop Turns To Big Drug Bust
As a police officer, you never know what the day will bring. One Minnesota State Patrol trooper got a major surprise during a regular traffic stop. Drugs and lots of them!
Recently, along Interstate 90, a Minnesota State Patrol trooper stopped a vehicle for speeding and ended up seizing 50,000 fentanyl pills. It's unbelievable!

In a shocking Facebook post from the Minnesota State Patrol, approximately nine packages of fentanyl pills were found. You have to see the pictures to believe it.
Where Did This Major Minnesota Drug Bust Happen?
This huge drug seizure was about two and a half hours from the South Dakota border on Interstate 90 in Albert Lee, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol even had some help from the K-9 unit.
One of our troopers stopped a vehicle on Friday for speeding and noticed signs of possible drug activity. With help from their K-9 partner and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension colleagues, they found nine packages containing approximately 50,000 fentanyl pills.
That single stop prevented tens of thousands of dangerous pills from reaching Minnesota communities.
It is kind of scary knowing all these drugs could have crossed state lines and get into South Dakotans hands easily. This is going to help make Sioux Empire communities safer.
I'd ike to buy that officer a beer and a big ol' beef bone for his K9 partner.
Awesome job catching them, pupper there deserves a steak dinner
Good job guys. I’m sure you saved some lives with this bust. Proud of the officers involved and give that K-9 a big steak.
Way to go, Minnesota State Patrol and K-9 units!
