Firefighters Offer To Cook for South Dakota Coyotes After Fires
A local fire department had an interesting week with the Coyotes at the University of South Dakota.
The crew with the Vermillion Fire EMS Department spent a lot of time at USD after receiving multiple calls for small cooking fires and overflowing washing machines. Gotta love college!
College is a time when young adults learn how to live on their own while continuing their education. Unfortunately, some USD Coyotes are realizing that "adulting" is not as easy as it seems, especially when it comes to cooking or even doing laundry.
Thanks to the patience of the Vermillion Fire EMS Department, firefighters can laugh at the minor calls they received recently from the Coyotes. Some calls included cooking flammable mini cinnabons, a steak left on the stove, and someone burning Ramen noodles. They posted the results on Facebook.
Firefighters were called four times in one week!
The Vermillion Fire EMS Department is offering to cook for USD Coyotes during their open house on Sunday, October 6th from 2 PM to 5 PM. They will even teach the Coyotes some helpful tips and tricks to avoid small fires and accidents.
People loved that the firefighters can make light out of these situations!
This is hilarious. I bet the first week of college is hard on firestations
This is one of the BEST posts I’ve seen!! Thank you for being there and helping the kids!! You are so appreciated!
Nothing like keeping your local FD in guessing. What can these kids give us today or come up with.
Those poor steaks.
I remember doing laundry for the first time...I was nervous all my clothes would turn pink! Do you remember a funny college memory when you burned food or maybe missed a class because you overslept?
