This Is Colorado’s Best Pizza Spot According to Yelp
Would you say that Colorado is known for being a pizza state? Some would say no, but considering that we have our style of pizza, I would say otherwise.
The crust of Colorado-style pizza is my personal favorite. The crust is thick and knotted and has a slight honey taste. The mountain of toppings is also legendary. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Colorado Pizza Not Represented Well
Yelp released their annual list of the top 100 pizza spots for 2024. As you would expect the most common state mentioned was New York. Yelp says that this list was curated by Yelp Elites. They say that the group, that you apply for, are trustworthy and reliable reviewers.
These pizzerias were not left off of the list because some guy named Brian was mad that he did not have enough napkins. This is a legit list.
Of the top 100, only three Colorado pizzerias made the list. This is extremely surprising. Here is where you can find the best pizza in Colorado
#3 - Golden, Colorado
Woody’s Woodfired Pizza & Watering Hole was rated the 93rd-best pizzeria in the nation. Woody's in Golden has been around for over 30 years.
Their pizza toppings are unique and as you can tell by the name Woody's specializes in woodfired pizza. Which is truly an art form. They specialize in drinks as well.

The top place to get pizza in Colorado is also in Denver. Osteria Marco is in Larimer Square. So next time you need to get some shopping done, stop on in for a pizza. Osteria Marco is so good that you might see a celebrity there.
Michelle Obama, Robert Plant, U2, and the late Anthony Bourdain have eaten there. There are only 50 seats available, so make sure to plan by booking a reservation.
