9/11 Newspaper Found in Shuttered Chicago Tribune Site
Like it or not, the era of the big newspaper is disappearing as the digital world has taken over. Urban explorers recently gave a glimpse inside of the now abandoned Chicago Tribune printing plant that is in the process of being demolished.
This should go without saying, but do not ever attempt anything like what these urban explorers did. I follow Decaying Midwest and they do a responsible job of not messing with the places they investigate. That being said, there would likely have been consequences if they had been caught. What they have shared will likely be the last look inside the old Chicago Tribune print site before it's razed to the ground.

Media is changing and radio is not exempt either. As newspapers have taken on a digital presence, my career has done the same. While I do miss some things about the "old days", the truth is newspapers and radio stations can now reach millions of people by using digital instead of the thousands in the olden days. The capture of the remnants of the old Chicago Tribune building are just a reminder of the changing times we live in and what's inside this building is about to be a part of the forgotten past which is why I like sharing content like this so we don't forget what used to be.
