Some die-hard Saints were even shocked that of all players, Carr, broke out Michael Jackson's iconic move to celebrate the moment, but no one was anticipating a fine per se. Now, once the clip of the crotch grab was put in slow motion, I think everyone watching was scratching their heads in surprise.

Carr was not penalized after the forbidden crotch grab in the game, so many fans thought that the NFL wasn't particularly offended. Well, it turns out the NFL was offended after all.

Derek Carr Fined Over $10K For Lewd Touchdown Celebration

Even though the New Orleans Saints quarterback has made hundreds of millions in his career, the NFL hitting him with a $14,000 fine for his Michael Jackson impersonation still hurts.

But this isn't the first time the NFL has fined a player for an over zealous touchdown celebration. Money Digest points out that the Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs sprayed fans with beer, and the San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle wore a shirt that read 'F*** Dallas,' and both players were fined.

Crude gestures have also been deemed fine-worthy. Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings made a very subtle 'too little' gesture and was hit with a fine, too.

NBC Sports reminisced on a time when Marshawn Lynch once had a coined move where he grabbed his 'ding-ding' that was included in an NFL Network commercial.

The sports outlet also poked fun at the fact that Derek Carr is known as a goody two shoes with a squeaky clean record, so for him to catch a fine, no one is safe, "It’s both funny and sad. It’s the No Fun League, in full display".
