In Minnesota, the cost of living isn't exactly cheap, but it is far from the most expensive state to live in across the United States.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes comes in at #26 most expensive state to live in according to data compiled by the website WiseVoter when looking at 2023 information. While the overall cost of living ranks a little lower on a national scale, the "average living wage" a single person with no kids would need to earn to support themself is the 18th-highest in the country, coming in at $17.74 per hour.

This wage includes expenses like food, housing, healthcare, transportation, taxes, and certain other cost of living expenses.

Looking more closely on a county-by-county level, there's a pretty notable range between the least and most expensive counties to live in across the state.
