Many artists are starting to take advantage of their large crowds during shows, recording videos that can be used as content for their social media channels. Few do it better than Lindsey Stirling.

Stirling, a violinist, songwriter, and dancer, is currently touring with the rock band Halestorm. During a recent stop in Minnesota, she paused the music and created a funny video with the crowd.

Lindsey Stirling Brings Viral Fun to Duluth - A Meme With Staying Power

The video features audio from a movie scene turned meme known as "I’m Tired of This Grandpa." The line comes from the 2003 film Holes, when a young girl complains about digging, and Grandpa growls back, “That’s too damn bad! Keep diggin’.”

Originally a two-panel image meme, it found new life on TikTok and Facebook in 2023. Even years later, the joke continues to land when used in just the right situation.

Stirling’s Duluth Twist

In Stirling’s version, filmed at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth on September 27, she had a member of the audience deliver the famous line: “I’m tired of this Grandpa.” With her back turned, Stirling spun the punchline perfectly: “That’s too damn bad…”

The moment didn’t just stay in Duluth. She shared the clip with her millions of followers, joking in the caption, “You mean to tell me other artists don’t spend their whole show filming content with their back to the audience?”

The playful moment added local charm to her stop in northern Minnesota and showed why Stirling has become such a fan-favorite performer.

Minnesota's 5 Shortest State Highways - Don't Blink, Or You'll Miss Them!

Don't blink, or you'll miss them! These state highways are pretty shockingly short!

For the purpose of this list, I decided to exclude the sizable list of short state highways that serve state institutions like correctional facilities and hospitals. These are just connections to those facilities, so they have a very specific purpose besides just being a stretch of road.

Let's take a look at where these roads are and just how short they really are.
