Kutcher is returning to television for an episode of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge," this month.
The 'That 70's Show' actor is getting in touch with nature in his episode, and getting real about a health scare that changed his outlook on life.
In the brief trailer that was released on Monday, the Cedar Rapids native got real about a rare autoimmune disorder that caused problems for him a few years ago.
"Like two years ago I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis, that like knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out like all my equilibrium," Kutcher explained to Grylls.
After the flareup, Kutcher said that it took him about a year to "build it all back up."
The Iowa native wanted to get ahead of the news before it started popping up everywhere. So, before any big rumors could spread, Kutcher confirmed on social media that he had a health issue about three years ago, and has since fully recovered.
"You don't really appreciate it until it's gone..." the actor said.
