I've said it before and I'll say it again, one of my favorite parts of traveling is eating. I love trying new restaurants and foods!

While in Rapid City, we had dinner one night at Independent Ale House. They have a huge selection of beers and delicious pizzas!

I was with two friends and we each ordered a different pizza so we could try more off the menu.

My friend Ciara had been there before so she got her tried and true, Bob's Popper. This pizza is topped with ranch sauce, cheese blend, jalapeño, bacon, cream cheese,& raspberry preserves. It. was. so. good. It was that mix of heat with sweet!

My friend Heather ordered the Bernardo with tomato sauce, spinach, garlic, pepperoni, pepperoncinis, and indy cheese blend. Also delicious. The pepperoncinis gave it a nice bite.

I went a little more traditional since we already had two 'eclectic' pizzas. I ordered the Indy Supreme. So basically it had everything on it including tomato sauce, cheese blend, hamburger, pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, black olives, and topped off with a balsamic reduction. What really set this pizza apart from other 'supreme' pizzas was that balsamic reduction. MMMMhmmmmm. And this pizza made a great breakfast the next morning!

I kept seeing huge 22-inch to-go pizzas going out the door, but I didn't see them on the menu. Maybe the locals know something I don't.

There were so many beers and their taps change so often that I can't quite remember what I had, but I know it was good! It was also cool to see so many Sioux Falls beers on their menu! East River represent!
