I Thought It Was National Ice-T Day – Not National Iced Tea Day

All week I kept hearing that Friday was National Ice-T Day. I was so excited. Then on Friday morning I came face to face with reality; it was National Iced Tea Day, not National Ice-T Day.

Ice is one of my favorite rappers of all time. I had dug out my old t-shirts, planed a movie marathon featuring New Jack City, Trespass and Surviving the Game. I got out my old VHS recording of MTV's Ice-t Rockumentary and Ice's appearance on Pump It Up!. I was even getting ready to reread The Ice Opinion. But no, Friday was all about soaking leaves in water, not one of the greatest rappers of all time.
