You're a decent looking young guy. But how much money do you make?

Maybe money can't buy love, but apparently it sure doesn't hurt!

Marriage rates are down and according to a report from the New York Daily News it's because a lot of men aren't 'economically attractive'. In other words, if the bucks aren't there...see ya!

In 1960 (ancient times, I know, I know) 72% of U.S. adults were married. Today? It's right around 50% or so, with many more folks now not tying the knot but just living together.

And the report details that the lack of marriages is due to a lack of green. They call it a 'putative shortage of economically attractive partners for unmarried women to marry'.

So the next time you're out there in the singles scene, pop a few more twenties in your wallet and flash that credit and debit card a time or two. It might not help, but it won't hurt either.
