Folks, We Need To Talk About The Chicken Tenders At Casey’s

I would like to consider myself a little bit of a chicken wing/tender connoisseur. For no other reason than I eat them a lot. If I'm ever visiting a restaurant I've never been to, the first thing I'm going to order, 9 times out of 10, is chicken wings/chicken tenders. I have a firm belief you can tell a lot about a restaurant by how good its chicken is. We have got to talk about these chicken tenders at Casey's. How on earth do they taste as good as they do?

Yesterday after work I stopped by a Casey's gas station to grab a quick afternoon snack. Whenever I am grabbing some food from any gas station, my expectations aren't very high. I'm just looking to eat something quick and continue on with my day. I had never had the chicken tenders from Casey's before so I figured "why not?" Let's give them a shot.

When it comes to chicken wing/tender sauce, I'm a buffalo and parmesan garlic kind of guy. Occasionally I'll try something different but those two flavors are my go-to's. I've tried the buffalo sauce from Casey's for a breakfast pizza before so I decided to try the parmesan garlic dipping sauce as I had never tried it.

I'm not sure if there was something in the air that day, I was really hungry, or the stars aligned with my taste buds but it should be illegal with how great these tenders and dipping sauce are. That's no disrespect to Casey's at all but once again...with gas station food my expectations can only go so high.

This might've been one of the best-tasting chicken tender/parmesan garlic combinations I've ever had. It's easily in my top 3. I have been accused of having the food selection of a 7-year-old, so you might want to take this with a grain of salt, but I was amazed at how awesome these were.

They were crunchy (which is my preference), had great flavor, and were affordable. The next time I go there, I'm going to ask if I can just buy 10 of the parmesan sauces to keep in stock at my house. That might not even be allowed but you better believe I'm going to try.

I promise you this is not an ad. Casey's has no clue I'm writing this and it's likely no one from their stores will even see this but I was pretty blown away. I'm almost a little upset I've waited this long to give these tenders and garlic sauce a try but I have a feeling I'll be pretty obsessed for a while.

Casey's...just take my money.
