Florida Gator fans sing Tom Petty ‘I won’t back down’
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium began to sing in unison to the song.
Petty was born in Gainesville and worked as a groundkeeper at the university before becoming a rockstar. He died Monday.
Florida lost to LSU 17-16.
