Fall Out Boy Leaves a Mysterious Box at an Iowa Landmark
They say, if you build it, he will come...
In this case, it's more like, if you (one of the most popular bands of the 21st century) leave a clue on social media, the fans will freak out.
On Friday, January 20th fans of the band Fall Out Boy were left scrambling after a strange message was plastered around the group's social media. The band shared an image of a box with their logo right in front of the iconic Field of Dreams house in Dyersville, Iowa.
The caption read the exact coordinates for the box along with the iconic movie line,
"if you build it, they will come..."
Fans swarmed to the filming location, and just thirty minutes later the prize was picked up by a Fall Out Boy fan. He shared photos of the contents of the box which included a seashell with 2 of 13 written on the inside.
The strangest thing in the box included piece of paper that had "A Homebody's Life" written across the top with the date January 25th, 2023 just below it.
Further down on the page are the words "Heartbreak Feels So Good."
Most likely, a new song will be dropping with either strange phrases as the title AND 2 of 13 could be a hint about the track list OR that could be the date that another clue will be posted. Either way, we can't wait to see what these clues mean.
All of this comes out ahead of the upcoming release of new music from Fall Out Boy. They will be dropping a new album on March 24th called 'So Much (For) Stardust.'
