‘Drunk History’ Goes Full ‘Hamilton’ in First Season 4 Trailer
Drunk History has made its way around the block, from web series to Emmy nominations, and Season 4 on Comedy Central may be the most satisfied year yet. Not only do we get a first taste of Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda retelling the famous duel, but the first trailer brings a bevy of celebrities from Elizabeth Olsen to Ronda Rousey.
Comedy Central released the first official trailer for Drunk History Season 4, now scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, September 27. We’ll wait until November 29 for Lin-Manuel Miranda to narrate the Hamilton duel between Alia Shawkat’s Alexander Hamilton and Aubrey Plaza’s Aaron Burr, but the trailer gives us a taste nonetheless.
Miranda, Plaza and Shawkat aren’t the only major names appearing this season, itself set to premiere on September 27, as the new episodes will also feature Allan McLeod, Billie Joe Armstrong, Steve Berg, Mae Whitman, Paget Brewster, Busy Phillips, Rachel Bilson, Michael Cera, Josh Charles, Kat Dennings, Ben Folds, Dave Grohl, Tony Hale, Ed Helms, Thomas Middleditch, Elizabeth Olsen, Ronda Rousey, Liev Schreiber and Duncan Trussell.
