Does Sioux Falls Have the Most Restaurants Per Capita?

Maybe you've heard people say that Sioux Falls has more restaurants per capita of any city in the country. The simple fact is we don't.

A study by Nielson in 2011 showed that Sioux Falls has one restaurant for every 490 people. That is more than Minneapolis where they have one restaurant for every 561 people. But it is less than Chicago. The Windy City has one for every 453 people.

If you are bummed out by this, it gets worse. Sioux Falls doesn't have the most restaurants per capita in South Dakota. Rapid City has one restaurant for every 429 people.
