It was Switch Up week on 'Dancing With the Stars' and this proved to be not so good for a lot of the couples. A few, however, came out pretty good.

I'm not sure if it was because last week was so emotional and great and 10's were flying everywhere, but this week just did not live up to last week at all.  On the whole I thought the performances except for three maybe four were pretty bad.

Jessie J kicked off the show with a great live performance before she sat in at the judge's table. She was one of the best guest judges so far. She was honest and funny and kept it real. Actually, all the judges kept it pretty real because the 5 paddles came out! I haven't seen a 5 in forever.

Alfonso and Cheryl did a great flamenco dance that finally gave the crowd and TV audience something to cheer about. There was so much attack and precision and it was sexy! There was drama and theatrics thanks to some hand powder emphasizing some powerful hand claps! Alfonso is back, people!

Sadie and Derek were paired up this week and they did a very modern Charleston. I'm calling it modern because, to me, it was a mix of charleston, hip hop, and maybe a little jazz. Whatever it was, I loved it.

And to close out the night, the newly paired Val and Lea did a Broadway number to 'You Can't Stop the Beat' from 'Hairspray,' which I love! They did a little bit of a different story line with the performance though. Lea is a nurse at a retirement home for dancers and everybody dances! With walkers even! It was super fun and humorous and just a good time

There wasn't an elimination this week because of the switch up so this week's scores will carry over into next week. I've said it and I'll say it again, I think Michael Waltrip should go home, but Jonathan Bennett could be hot on his heels after his awkward and sloppy jitterbug. I'm still hoping Michael will be gone though!
