‘Dancing with the Stars Junior’ Announces Judges

Dancing with the Stars is expanding their brand with a season of Juniors. That's right, kids are going to complete. Not many details have been revealed about who the celebrity kids or pros will be for the Juniors season, but we do now know the judges.

The winner of the Athletes season of DWTS, Adam Rippon, will be on the judging panel. Joining him will be choreographer extraordinaire, Mandy Moore and longtime pro and two-time mirrorball champion, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Mandy Moore (not to be confused with singer/actress Mandy Moore) is a long time choreographer and collaborator on Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. She was also the choreographer for La La Land.

So You Think You Can Dance did a juniors season a couple Summers ago and I found myself pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I'm guessing a few of the kids that competed on that show will be the 'pros' for Dancing with the Stars Juniors.

Dancing with the Stars Juniors will premiere on October 7 on ABC.

The newest season of the original Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere on ABC on September 24.
