Crank Yankers, that originally ran from 2002-2007, featured actual crank calls made by show regulars and celebrity guests and re-enacted onscreen by puppets. Well, thanks to Comedy Central, the popular show is coming back!

According to the Hollywood ReporterJimmy Kimmel and original series co-creators Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison will executive produce the new version, along with Crank Yankers and South Park veteran (and Kimmel's brother) Jonathan Kimmel, who will serve as showrunner.

The new version will be updated for the digital era and will still feature pranks on phone calls. Jimmy Kimmel says, "Crank Yankers has always been my favorite show to make,” says Kimmel. Nothing is more fun or makes me laugh harder than a great crank call and I am thrilled that Comedy Central asked us to do it again.”

So if you work for a business and you receive a strange phone call in the upcoming months, you just bit be featured on the show! No word on when revival will air.
