BTS Are Finally Going to Perform With This American Pop Star
They don't talk anymore... They just sing together, onstage.
Global music supergroup BTS and American pop star Charlie Puth will take the stage together in November for their first joint performance.
According to organizers for the 2018 MGA, BTS and Puth will perform at the award show on November 6 in Incheon, just west of Seoul.
The performance, which will take place a day ahead of Puth's November 7 and 8 concerts in South Korea, will see the musician finally team up with mutual fans Jin, Jimin, V, RM, Jungkook, Suga and J-Hope.
It's unclear if Puth will be joining BTS to feature on one of their songs, perform a mashup or if the performance will introduce a fresh collaboration between the American and South Korean artists.
In February 2017, Jungkook uploaded a video of him singing Puth's song "We Don't Talk Anymore," which Puth praised on Twitter, writing, "Love this Jungcook [sic]."
A month later, Puth shared his love for BTS again, tweeting, "I really like BTS's music!"
BTS are nominated for eight MGAs this year: Male Group, Dance Track (Male), Rap (Hip-Hop) Award, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (2x), Best Selling Artist of the Year, Digital Album of the Year and Genie Music Popularity Award.
