Boy Falls from Window in Valley Springs Airlifted to Hospital

An accident in Valley Springs sent a 5-year old to the hospital Thursday evening.  

According to multiple reports, the boy pushed out the screen to a window and jumped out falling 20 feet to the ground.  Injuries were serious enough to necessitate a helicopter transport to a Sioux Falls hospital.

Both legs were injured in the fall according to the initial diagnosis.  The family was present at the time of the accident.
