Toy company GoldieBlox sells toys for girls that aren't dolls.

Instead, it offers young females more choices and options, selling things they can build, using their brains without being relegated to playing with pink stuff! It's modern feminism aimed at little ladies with single digit ages, and the classic, bratty Beastie Boys' song 'Girls' is reworked into a bit of a feminist statement in this commercial.

The original song's melody is bolstered by a xylophone and is jingle-like in nature, but make no mistake. The lyrics most certainly are not. The words have been reworked and resculpted to feature a neo-and-mini feminist slant that fits the message of the retailer.

Forget the lip service that often goes along with the concept of "Girl Power!" This is the real thing, encouraging girls to use their minds and their hands.
