How does that old U.S. Postal Service motto go, "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

Basically, nothing can stop the U.S. Mail. Not even an angry woman with a box cutter.

A Minneapolis woman is in big trouble after stalking, and then attacking a U.S. Postal worker recently.

Fox9 in the Twin Cities is reporting that police are searching for a Minneapolis woman who went postal on a U.S. Postal worker while he was working his route in Minneapolis on Saturday, (April 2).

Justice Lacole Smith, age 29, of Minneapolis is being sought on one count each of stalking and tampering with witness testimony after she assaulted a postal worker with a box cutter.

According to the Fox9 report, Smith followed the mail carrier in her vehicle, and then got out and approached the victim on foot with a box cutter. She struck the man in the head, and right ear with the weapon, and then proceeded to go through his postal truck, throwing around packages and mail, before she ultimately stole the victim's driver’s license and debit card that was located on the dashboard of his mail delivery vehicle.

But wait, she wasn't done quite yet. Smith then attempted to slash the truck’s tires before speeding away in her car.

Wow! Talk about having a bad mail day! Did that item you ordered from HSN not show up on time as promised?

Fox9 reports that Smith and this mail carrier have a previous history together.

According to witnesses on the scene, Smith had been harassing the mail carrier in the past. Evidently she had previously broken his car’s windshield, along with bothering him at work, and threatening him by telling him not to show up in court to testify against her in a case where she was being charged with threats of violence for pointing a handgun at another person's head.

Needless to say, a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
