A Little Magic in the Morning
Local magician/mentalist/illusionist, Zstonish, stopped by the studio this morning to work his magic on me. Not like that, he did some card tricks.
My mind was blown! (Also, he brought me pumpkin bars that were delicious. Thanks!)
Doing magic on the radio is a little tricky, but we tried to let the listeners in on the show by doing Facebook Live!
Check out what went down this morning.
Sorry this one is sideways. Andy and I had a big conversation the other day about how annoying vertical videos are so I was trying to do a horizontal video, but on Facebook Live that isn't a thing, apparently.
Sorry for the shaky camera work. I was trying to host a radio show, be the subject of a magic trick, and a camera woman all at the same time.
Anyway, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Zstonish has up his sleeve.
If you want to see his full arsenal of 'stuff' and see him in real life he has a show coming up in October. It is called "Superstitions A Psychological Spectacle." Zstonish had this to say about the show, "It's not just a magic show, but a thrilling one-man performance weaving together mystery and mind-reading. No rabbits. No top hats. No smoke and mirrors. Witness a different way to experience reality."
Tickets $15 in advance and are available now. You can get yours at Last Stop CD Shop or at zstonish.com.
The show will be in October on Friday the 13th (spooky) at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Sioux Falls. Doors open at 7 PM and show starts at 8 PM! Zstonish warns that the show may be suitable for 13 years of age and older, but use your discretion.
