Chance the Rapper Announced for the 2024 Minnesota State Fair
Just added to that lineup is Chicago native Chance the Rapper!
He was a coach on The Voice a year ago and now he's back for the newest season that just kicked off at the end of February.
Chance will take the stage at the Great Minnesota Get-Together on Friday, August 23rd at 7 PM. That makes him, for right now, the first performer of the 2024 state fair. The fair starts on the 22nd, though, so another artist might perform that day and they just haven't been announced.
Tickets to see Chance the Rapper go on sale on Friday, March 15th at 10 AM. Prices range from $48 up to $148 depending on where you want to sit. And if you want to sit in the party deck, which sounds super fun, that's $96 per person.
Are There More Grandstand Announcements Coming?
There are likely more grandstand announcements coming still. The state fair runs Thursday, August 22nd through Monday, September 2nd this year. Right now we don't have shows for Thursday the 22nd, Sunday the 25th, Tuesday the 27th, Wednesday the 28th, Friday the 30th, Saturday the 31st, or Sunday the 1st.
I'm going to guess that we'll eventually be getting a couple of big shows announced for Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st. We'll have to wait and see!
