After what seemed like the longest South Dakota winter ever and cooler than normal Spring temps, we are ready for summer. One way to get excited for warmer weather is to hear Wild Water West will be opening soon.

Wild Water West Waterpark is set to open Friday (May 25) at 11:00 AM. The forecast for the season-opener is sunny and 88 degrees!

We'll see highs in the upper 80's and lower 90's all Memorial Day weekend long. With weather like that, you belong on the Lazy River.

Wild Water West isn't just about the water. You can take a spin on the go-karts, play a round of mini-golf, hit a few balls in the batting cages, and even play sand volleyball.

However, the biggest attraction is the water. Relax and float down the Lazy River. Experience the swirling vortex in Tornado Alley. Slide down all four waterslides. Hang out in the 500,000 gallon Wave Pool. There's a swim-up bar if you get thirsty, plenty of kid-friendly spaces, a concession stand and more.

Mondays are Bring Your Friends Night. From 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM for $40 you can bring an entire group (up to 10 people).

Tuesday is Terrific Tuesday's Back to School Promotion. Every Tuesday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM admission is $5 with a school supply donation to be donated at the Banquet's Project S.O.S.

Get info on ticket prices on their website.

Wild Water West would be a great place to hold a birthday party, corporate party or reunion. Get the details and groups and parties here.
