"You and I Both" was the third single from Jason Mraz's debut album in 2004, Waiting For My Rocket To Come.

While it wasn't quite as successful as its predecessor, "The Remedy" it's my favorite.

The song is great, but the music video is what sucked me in. It is a mini musical and I'm a sucker for a dance number. A fake bank robbery never looked so graceful.

The music video features a relatively unknown at the time, Lizzy Caplan. She went on to be in Mean Girls and Cloverfield. Anyway, she is Jason's love interest in this video and through a bunch of unfortunate events they finally have their moment.

However, the note he gives her is a little creepy. 'Give me what I want.' How about a please? Or just 'Hi, my name is Jason. How are you today?'

Anyway, the song peaked at #15 on the Billboard Adult Top 40.
