Throwback Thursday ‘That’s The Way It Is’ by Celine Dion (1999)

In honor of Celine Dion announcing a new album, full of new music, and a nationwide tour, and the fact that my friends and I scored tickets to said tour!!! OMG WE ARE GOING TO CELINE!

Anyway, because of all of that, I picked a Celine song for Throwback Thursday!

"That's The Way It Is" was from Celine Dion's greatest hits album, All The Way...A Decade of Song.

The music video was included on a special DVD compilation that accompanied the greatest hits CD.

According to Wikipedia, "The music video, which was uploaded on YouTube on 24 October 2009 reached 100 million views and became Dion's second VEVO certified music video."

"That's The Way It Is" even set a Billboard Adult Contemporary chart record, "The song spent 1 week at number 1 at the top and an eventual 85 weeks or 1 and a half years on the said chart. It became one of the longest-running single in the chart's history."

It also went to #6 on Billboard Hot 100, #3 on Mainstream Top 40, #3 on Top 40 Tracks, and #5 on Adult Top 40 chart.
