Throwback Thursday ‘Never Had a Dream Come True’ by S Club 7 (2000)

It's the first Throwback Thursday of 2021 and I didn't really know what I wanted to do, but then, we got some snow, and 'ding ding ding' I knew exactly what I needed to do.

The music video for "Never Had A Dream Come True" by S Club 7 is all about snow and winter themed! So many turtlenecks and fur-lined coats!

S Club 7 is a pop group from the United Kingdom made up of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, and Tina Barrett.

The group formed in 1998 and was put together by the same guy responsible for the Spice Girls.

They were not only a music group but had a TV show on BBC. The show was seen in over 100 countries.

The group disbanded in 2003 but announced a reunion in 2015.

"Never Had a Dream Come True" was huge for S Club 7. It was their only Billboard Top 10 in the US.

According to Wikipedia, "It was chosen to be the official 2000 BBC Children in Need song.^[2] The single peaked atop the UK Singles Chart, becoming Britain's ninth-best-selling single of 2000. Outside the UK, it peaked within the top ten on the charts of Ireland, Sweden, and the United States..."

Due to the song's success, it was included on the re-release of the group's second album, 7, and their third album, Sunshine.

As previously stated, the song went to #10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, but it peaked at #8 on both the Adult Contemporary and Mainstream Top 40 charts as well.
