Throwback Thursday ‘Just The Girl’ by The Click Five (2005)

The Click Five was a band out of Boston, Massachusetts. The guys in the band had all been students at the Berklee College of Music.

They released their first album Greetings from Imrie House in 2005. The name refers to the nickname they gave their house during college. Most of the album was recorded there.

"Just The Girl" was written by Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne. The song peaked at #8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

The video for "Just The Girl" has cameos from Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry. They were married at the time. You may know him as Peter Brady and she won the first cycle of America's Next Top Model. 

"Just The Girl" was also featured on the soundtrack to the movie John Tucker Must Die. 

The lead singer, Eric Dill, was replaced in 2007 for the band's second album, Modern Minds and Pastimes. 

The band announced via their official Facebook page that they were going their separate ways in 2013.
