Throwback Thursday: ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ by Daniel Bedingfield (2001)

"Gotta Get Thru This" was the lead single from Daniel Bedingfield's debut album also entitled, Gotta Get Thru This.

Daniel Bedingfield is English and New Zealander. He is also the brother of Natasha Bedingfield.

The album, Gotta Get Thru This, was partially recorded in Bedingfield's bedroom. Impressive.

"Gotta Get Thru This" peaked at #10 on Billboard's Hot 100. It was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

There are two versions of the music video. One for the UK and one for the US.

In 2004, Bedingfield was visiting family in New Zealand and was in a very serious car accident that left him with neck and head injuries.

He has since recovered and worked behind the scenes, songwriting for British acts as well as performing on The West End (that's the British version of Broadway). In 2012, he was a judge on The X Factor: New Zealand.
