Cruise with Your Favorite Band

Kid Rock is going to do it.  Rick Springfield has done it several times.  A bunch of 90's bands including Gin Blossoms, Smash Mouth, Spin Doctors, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe and Sugar Ray will be doing it in October.  Now, Matchbox Twenty is getting on board, too!

What do all of those bands have in common?  Cruise ships.

Kid Rock's 4th Annual Chillin' The Most Cruise is March 6-10.  The 90's get-together with Sugar Ray is called Mark McGrath & Friends and will set sail October 18-21.  The final Rick Springfield and Friends Cruise was in 2011 and I missed it.

Another band launching their own cruise this year is Matchbox Twenty.  The band's inaugural voyage will set sail on the Carnival Imagination, December 6-9 from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas.  The cruise will include several "intimate" performances, photo opps, and evening parties where the fans will get up-close and personal with the band.
