Last night at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, something happened that was surprising even by the usually-unpredictable ceremony's standards. As Will Ferrell accepted his Comedic Genius Award,'Parks and Recreation' star Aubrey Plaza interrupted him, tried to steal away the award, and created her very own controversial Kanye Moment, getting kicked out of the show by MTV producers. Will Ferrell filmed an ad for Old Milwaukee that aired during the Super Bowl last night. But you probably didn't see it. The ad only played in three places -- Sherman, Texas, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Glendive, Montana.
The Will Ferrell holiday classic 'Elf' wasn’t supposed to be a hit. Despite being a heartwarming comedy released around the holiday season, it had several things going against it before the filmmakers had a chance to start shooting.
Sadly, outside of the occasional Old Milwaukee commercial, occasional 'SNL' appearance, or maybe even the latest episode of 'Bitch Hunter,' we're unlikely to see Will Ferrell take any regular presence on the small screen again. That's okay though, considering the imminent arrival of 'Anchorman 2' with director Adam McKay, and an upcoming NBC series with both behind the camera!
