Thanks to hipsters, the price of cheap beer is on the rise.

One of the more popular brands right now is Pabst Blue Ribbon.

A recent study by Restaurant Sciences found that beers like Budweiser, Miller Light and Coors Light have also seen an increase in sales - thanks to the popularity of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

According to Chuck Ellis, the head of Restaurant Sciences, "The single biggest driver in sub-premium beer price increases is hands down PBR."  He says, "It's become quite fashionable be be seen drinking a Pabst."

So how much more are people paying?

According to the study, traditionally lower-priced beers (such as PBR) have seen sizeable double-digit price increases in both restaurants and bars and nightclubs.

The beers are still cheap though, especially compared to a $15 cocktail.  A can of Pabst, however, can still run you about $3 in some of the bigger cities.
