Mila Kunis Style Breakdown

Mila Kunis is a natural stunner. She is the great brunette beauty of the current generation, much like the classic Audrey Hepburn was to hers. And even though she’s drop-dead gorgeous, there’s an accessibility to her, as though she just might say “yes” if you ask her out. (Remember, she did spend a decade in a relationship with Macaulay Culkin.)

When it comes to style and fashion, Ashton Kusher’s main squeeze and the voice of Meg Griffin from ‘Family Guy’ is usually flaw-free. But as with all roads, even the most perfect ones sometimes have speed bumps.

A sateen-like black Dior frock with a peplum waist, which she wore to the 2012 ‘Ted’ premiere, was one of her best. She paired it with green python heels. The film established Kunis as a comedic force to be reckoned with and her red carpet ensemble demonstrated her fashion sense.

Strapless silhouettes and sweetheart necklines are also something she favors, as evidenced by this white Victoria Beckham dress.

She also pulls herself together in crisp, clean, tailored coats. She’s Hepburnian in this black outfit. If she wore her hair in a French twist, as opposed to those delightfully messy waves, she’d be Audrey’s heir apparent.

What’s Right:

She channeled ’60s mod in this long-sleeved mini. Even the double T-strap white heels are from the Twiggy era. But she kept the look modern with black aviators, and the overall execution was flawless.

Her one-shouldered black Dior gown, worn to the Golden Globes, was chic and established her as a style star. It didn’t hurt that she enjoyed a stint repping the house.

Her playful ivory Dolce & Gabbana dress from the Los Angeles premiere of the ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ was a party dress that every girl in her early 20s would want to wear. Despite the volume and ’50s housewife cut of the skirt, it didn’t swallow Kunis’ small frame.

She doesn’t shy away from color and was money in this emerald green Vera Wang at the Golden Globes in 2011. To put it into perspective, there were a lot of green gowns at the Globes that year, including a Versace gown worn by Angelina Jolie. Dare we say that Mila outdid her? Yeah, she did.

The softness of Kunis’ lavender chiffon Elie Saab gown, worn to the Oscars, was dreamy. She’s not really showing sideboob. It’s more like top cup.

This tiered, print pattern Alexander McQueen gown from the London ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ premiere was one of her best red carpet showings ever.

Her structured white coat and belted pink lace frock are classic and once again remind us of how this girl can work the ’60s style.

What’s Wrong:

This red belted Alexander McQueen maxi feels too casual for the red carpet and it’s gathered and bunched in a way that doesn’t flatter her form.

This Nina Ricci LBD is pretty on its own, but the layered necklace fights for space with the ruffly bust and draws attention away from your eye, while the thick and strappy shoes are also distracting. She should have gone with a more minimal dress or ditched the loud accessories.

Kunis’ purple Prabal Gurung dress was a total mess on her, thanks to the lacing on the bodice. Her boobies appear sloppy and uneven (and we know that’s not the case).

There’s nothing wrong with this black Lanvin dress, per se. It’s a nice simple LBD. The shirtdress has a mullet hem, where it’s longer in the back, and the pockets are modern and ballsy. But it’s a little blah on someone as gorgeous as Kunis.

How to Fix It:

As long as Kunis plays up that gorgeous hair, those killer legs, those saucer-sized eyes and that inviting smile, we’ll remain fully enraptured by her beauty.

Minis are her friends, because her body is bangin’.

Black is a basic, but it always pops against her olive skin.

Even in sweats and flip-fops, she looks otherworldly, all the while reminding us that yes, she is a human specimen.
