Turns out the biggest problem with our school is some parents. In Wichita, Kansas a student with Down Syndrome and autism who loves to play basketball was told he couldn't wear an apparently scared Wichita East High School varsity letter jacket.

The student, Michael, plays extra-curricular special needs basketball and his parents bought him a jacket like the other kids wear. But, his mother was informed by the school that Michael would not be allowed to wear it. According to the family, they were told that the schools policy is that only varsity teams can wear the letter. Because they are the chosen ones I guess and the letters are made from an Infinity Stone.

And the part of this story that burns me the most is that according to Micheal's mother, this all started because another parent didn't like the idea of her son wearing the revered letter.

Look, it's sad and all that all you have in your life is trying to relive your youth through your kids, but do you have to ruin things for other people? Let me let you in on a little secret, it's high school ephemera, in the long run it doesn't matter. Who cares? Do your thing, or encourage your kids to do their thing, be the best that you can be and mind your own business.
