Internet Hoax of the Week – No, Clay Matthews Didn’t Break His Legs

The latest horrible Internet hoax involved the Green Bay Packers’ Clay Matthews. As much as I would like to see him not play against the Vikings this year, he was not in a car accident nor did he break both of his legs.
Matthews even tweeted about the hoax:
Where’d you hear that? The Internet. And you believed it? Yeah, they can’t put anything on the Internet that isn’t true.

The Vikings did enough damage to the Packers last weekend without a hoax. Greg Jennings, the former Packers all-pro receiver, was signed to a free agent contract with Minnesota on Friday.
