HURON - A Huron man accused of firing a gun into a house during a domestic dispute is to stand trial on several charges.

KOKK radio reports that 19-year-old Tyrell Thompkins was arrested last Nov. 10 after allegedly firing several rounds from a .22-caliber rifle into the home after a fight with a female at the residence. She was inside at the time but was not hurt.

Thompkins has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, drunken driving and other alcohol-related offenses, intentional damage to property and obstructing a law officer. His trial is scheduled for March 6.
