'The Voice' coaches Pharrell, Gwen StefaniBlake Shelton and Adam Levine sat down with BuzzFeed Brews, and Blake and Adam had some interesting things to say about the burgeoning Spotify debate sparked by Taylor Swift’s recent decision to pull her entire discography from the site earlier this month.

Blake was on Taylor’s side, saying that while he understands where people are coming from in thinking Taylor makes enough money to warrant leaving her music up for the sake of fans, he sees it more along the lines of taking a stand for artists who are truly affected by the low sales garnered by Spotify streams.

"I know Spotify’s in kind of an experimental phase, changing with the industry, and I can see why she did that," he says. "I don’t disagree with her and I know a lot of artists have followed suit. When you look at the numbers, it’s easy to say ‘That’s Taylor Swift — why is she so worried about money?’ But when you talk about other writers and songwriters on the album who aren’t Taylor Swift, it hits them pretty hard. I don’t disagree with her at all.”

Adam, however, disagreed with the notion -- and Taylor's decision -- entirely, saying, "Music is for everyone. I don’t care how anybody obtains it as long as they get it and enjoy and love it.”

He said that as long as the listener is still “supporting the artist in some way,” it shouldn't matter how the music itself is obtained. “Music should be able to be wherever it is. That’s how I feel," he added.

Adam's feelings echo those stated by Foo Fighters frontman and all-around rock legend, Dave Grohl, whose profanity laced statement on the matter claimed: “I don’t f— care. That’s just me. I want people to hear our music, I don’t care if you pay one dollar or f—ing 20 dollars for it. ... But I can understand how other people would object to that.”

He went on to say that if a fan truly likes music, they'll go to a show. "You want people to f–-ing listen to your music?" he added. "Give them your music. And then go play a show. They like hearing your music? They’ll go see a show. To me it’s that simple, and I think it used to work that way."
