The magical time of the year for many has circled around the calendar again. Hunting season is firing up here in South Dakota and around the midwest.

As the swimming season starts to shut down across the state at outdoor pools, a different kind of conundrum is shutting down swimming at a local lake.

A small town in South Dakota has had Badgers showing up in places you don't normally see them.

It's definitely not a bad idea to secure your spot at a national park in the state if you’re planning a visit.

Whether it's a wild turkey trying to cross Minnesota Avenue or buffalo roaming the plains, animals are a huge part of the state.

It looks like Thanksgiving may be arriving early this year for a lot of Sioux Falls residents!

You'll see them in the Badlands or any town located on the west river side. But then again, there are a bunch of jackrabbits in Brookings (Haha, just kidding of course).

If this "city slicker" can do it, then nothing is impossible.

South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks needs to cover flooding and storm damage costs.

South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks recently confirmed zebra mussels were found in Lake Sharpe. Officials say they now consider the lake to be "infested" and boaters need to take precautions while on the water.
