One of my favorite music groups, Pompalmoose, is back with a new video. This time Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn create a smoothed out version of the James Brown classic I Feel Good.
One of my new favorite things, Postmodern Jukebox is back with another awesome cover song. They've again teamed up with the golden voiced sad clown Puddles Pity Party for a Tango influenced performance of Lorde's song Team. Watch for some special spice from a sneaky sax player.
I've written before about the amazing work that the folk of Postmodern Jukebox do. They make amazing covers of modern music in different historical styles. Like a Doo Wop version of Timber or this cover of Royals. Their latest creation is a cover of the Guns N' Roses song Sweet Child O' Mine. It's done in an old time New Orleans blues style. You have to watch the video
The folks at Postmodern Jukebox have made the ultimate cover of Lorde's Royals. I can't decide if it's weird, crazy, awesome, amazing or what exactly. All I do know is that I love it.
