The South Dakota State men's basketball team is doing its part to help victims of Hurricane Irma.

The Jackrabbits have scheduled a charity exhibition game with the South Dakota School of Mines, Thursday, November 2, at 8:15 PM, inside Frost Arena in Brookings.

The game follows a women's exhibition with Northern State.

The game will replace the Blue and Yellow scrimmage, which had been scheduled for that night.

Both SDSU and School of Mines requested a waiver from the NCAA to add the extra pre-season game. All of the net proceeds will go to the Florida Disaster Fund to benefit residents in the Sunshine State affected by recent the hurricane.

Tickets for the game start at $20 for general admission seats. Reserved tickets are $25. Youth (ages 3-17) tickets at $12. Season ticket holders will be able to attend the game as part of their package.
