Sioux Falls City Officials are trying out a new product to fill potholes. It’s called Aquaphalt. It was tested on Thursday near 41st Street in Sioux Falls.

Mark Cotter is the city’s director of public works.

“Just like any application that we have---things improve each year. We are interested in this. It’s an exclamation point for us to see about 35 departments of transportation have already used this product. That’s why we’re most interested in seeing where it might best fit in the city of Sioux Falls.”

If the product is successful, Cotter says it will be used when repairing potholes all over Sioux Falls.
