A Sioux Falls man was struck by several paint balls while riding his bike on Sunday morning.

Dakota News Now is reporting the drive-by paintball incident occurred around 11:30 on Sunday (April 19) in the neighborhood of 10th Street and Williams Avenue.

Sioux Falls Police Spokesperson Sam Clemens told Dakota News Now, the victim was riding his three-wheel bike in the area when a car drove by and someone inside fired a paintball gun at the man assaulting him with a barrage of paintball pellets.

Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured as a result of the incident. But I have a feeling his clothing probably wasn't as lucky. More than likely, he's going to need a healthy supply of laundry detergent and stain remover.

Dakota News Now reports police have information on the type of vehicle used during the assault but have not yet found the car and its driver.
